This was the latest Gas Alley Streetrods project.  SOLD
We believe in our manufactures and have used their products extensively
throughout this build.

This rod utilizes one of our Lakester bodies channeled the
depth of the frame.  The frame is constructed of  3 x 1 1/2 mild
steel.    Speedway 6" dropped axle in the front.  (We are a
Speedway distributor).  With traditional steering, utilizing one of
our reversed and rebuilt Corvair Steering boxes.
The frame has a 8" kick-up in the rear
with a Speedway Motors rear coil-over
/ hairpin rear kit.  A reclaimed S10
Blazer rear-end for a nicely centered
pumpkin.  The gas tank is one of our
Lakester types.  Yes, those are
cheater slicks.
We utilized Superior Radiators excellent 2 row aluminum
radiator with built in transmission cooler.  Which fits our
radiator shell perfectly.  We make them for virtually any car
The Lakester has a re-manufactured late model Small Block Chevy with 700R4 transmission.  We are a Jasper
Engines and Transmission dealer.   It is currently topped off with our rebuilt Stromberg 97's atop a Vintage
Speed 2 x 4 adapter utilizing our NEW Banjo Fittings.  It is based on a 107" wheelbase.
